It hadn't been long since Koa had sneaked out of the safety of the mirror world of Alfheim to explore the human world Earth, as it was called by the elves. In her short time there, she had heard countless stories of fiends and monsters that devoured people.
A smart person might had listen to these warnings, but not Koa. The more she heard about these monsters, the more curious she became.
Giants that ate humans sounded like an adventure! Beside that, Koa had already learned that people labeled everything that was different from themselves as a monster and spread rumors that weren't true. Had they done the same about elves, who were said to steal human children or cause nightmares or even lured them to their deaths.
Determined not to trust these tales, Koa set out to find a giant herself. Over hill and dale, across meadows and fields, through ravines and forests, she had searched everywhere but found nothing.
But giving up was not an option, she was sure to discover one somehow. However, while trying to cross a cliff, she slipped and fell into the water below. Koa struggled to stay afloat and cried out for help, but the current was far too strong. Koa wasn't the best swimmer either, so she was in danger of being swallowed by the water.

Koa giggled at Melody's reaction and nodded vigorously. "Yep, a gift for you!" And with that she handed the present to Melody, waiting eagerly to see how she would react and the reaction did not disappoint.
Immediately Koa burst into giggles again as she watched Melody start to laugh and fly through the air. "You are very much welcome. I'm happy you like it," Koa grinned.
Then she tilted her head slightly "Strawberry?" Koa repeated. "I think that's a perfect name," the girl agreed, giggling.
@elphilim asked:
Koa had been racking her brains for a long time about what to give Melody. It was difficult to find something for someone you didn't know very well, but what did you give a fly? In any case, talking flies were not one of the things Koa usually met and therefore not part of the usual group for which she had to think of a gift.
Finally Koa had an idea: Just as there weren't many talking flies, there certainly weren't that many toys for talking flies, and it was unacceptable that someone had to get by without toys or stuffed animals. At least not under Koa's watch. So Koa set about making something for Melody's size, which of course turned out to be just as difficult. In the end, Koa managed to make a miniature teddy, which she had wrapped in paper and now proudly presented to Melody. "Merry Christmas," Koa said happily.
>> A little christmas special for you. I know they have just met but just pretend it's some time after their first meeting. I wish you a Merry Christmas :) <<
“A gift—for me?” Melody grinned and flapped her arms even before seeing what hid beneath the wrapping paper. “Oh, Merry Christmas, Koa! Let me see! Let me see!” She took the present in her claws and dug through. And, when she saw the gift itself, she gasped.
There was a teddy bear inside. Only it wasn’t the kind she always saw that often belonged to human children and infants. This one stood as tall as herself—as short as herself. Had Koa created it?
Melody silently held its soft paws, lifted it up by its fluffy sides, wrapped her arms around it, and held it tightly. That was when she chuckled, and that chuckle grew into joyful laughter. She popped into the air with the teddy, hugging it close and swinging it by the arms as they flew together in loops and somersaults.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you! This is the most wonderful present,” she cried, settling before Koa again. “Teddys have names given to them, don’t they?” She eyed her teddy carefully. “I’ll call you Strawberry! What do you think?”
Strawberry stared blankly back at her. Melody giggled and twirled around and around with it. The two of them were inseparable!

The young Elf was sitting close to a beautiful lake. Lost in thought, she dangled her legs in the water and moved her feet slightly back and forth while quietly singing a song.
The song sounded like something out of a fairy tale and her voice was as enchanting as that of a siren who was trying to lure sailors. Not that she herself tried to lure someone to drown them.
Actually, she was at this lake to enjoy the peace and quiet alone and didn't noticed the rustling from the forest as someone seemed to be approaching her.

It was a new day and a new adventure that Koa had embarked on. She had been traveling in the mountains for days, eager to discover new things and explore the area, always hoping to meet new people and make acquaintances along the way.
But even the greatest and strongest adventurer needs a break sometimes, and so Koa had made it herself comfortable near a river and set up her camp there to stay over the night. If you could call it a camp. She only had constructed a shelter out of branches and leaves, just enough space for her to sit or lie down and stow her bag inside. Infront of that, she had gathered more branches to make a campfire.
After successfully fishing and catching some fish, she lit a fire to grill her catch. The smell of grilled fish filled the air, wafting through the mountains or should we say the smell of burnt fish?

Koa didn't know how long she had been wandering through this desert. All she knew was that she was slowly running out of energy. She was thirsty too, but wherever she looked there was nothing but sand and more sand.
She sighed in despair and looked around. "This really wasn't a good idea, wandering around here without a map or anything…" Had she been warned beforehand? Yes. Did she listen? Of course not. Who listens to warnings from those who know better? Where would the adventure be?
Well, that's what she got for it: An adventure that was no longer fun for her.
She sighed again and wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Well, it's all no use… Up, up and on we go," muttered Koa before she continued to trudge through the desert.

It was early in the morning when someone was knocking on Caspian's door before walking away quickly, so he wouldn't see the person behind the door when he opened it.
Instead he was greated by a big present in which there was an oversized teddy bear plushie whose fur was extremely soft and cuddly.
With the teddy there was a little card that said: - I don't know when your birthday is and till christmas it's still too long. So happy belated birthday... Or in advance? Oh you know what I mean.
Signed: Koa -

How Koa had come up with the idea of visiting and exploring the North Pole was unclear to her at this point. Of course it had sounded exciting and interesting at the beginning, but at that very moment she was just cold.
But she wouldn't be Koa if something like that stopped her. After all, she was here for a very specific reason: she wanted to find Santa Claus.
In the human world, she had often heard of a friendly man dressed in red, with a white beard and a friendly laugh that sounded like "Ho ho ho." That was exactly someone she wanted to find. She ignored the people who said that Santa Claus didn't really exist and was just a children's story or an invention of a company called Coa Cola.
After all, these people also claimed that there were no dragons or elves. What nonsense, otherwise there wouldn't be Koa. That's why she was absolutely convinced that Santa Claus was real too and lived somewhere here at the North Pole.

Full of energy, Koa trudged through the desert. She had heard stories from hikers who told of pixies that once lived here and disappeared about 10 years ago.
But there were rumors, which one of them had told, that there was another pixie somewhere out there. Curious as Koa was, she had made it her next goal to find this very pixie.
And so she had set out at dawn to explore the desert.
Koa searched under sticks and stones, dug around in the sand, everything she could think of just to find this pixie. Only to be disappointed every time that there was nothing there except dust, dirt and of course even more sand.
"Hellooo, little pixie. I'm here to find you…" Koa called out, hoping that the pixie was just as curious as she was and would show itself to her.

Koa was excited by the variety that the human world had to offer. There was so much to see and so much to discover, but unfortunately also so many evil people who didn't mean well. She already had seen and experienced this many times.
Just like at this moment when she heard loud shouting and fighting. There she saw a tall man throw a woman to the ground and threaten her. Koa frowned angry, //How rude!// she thought to herself and approached the man with her chest puffed out. As she walked over, she picked up a branch and hit him on the head, breaking the branch.
"Hey, pick a fight with someone your size!" Koa grumbled and continued to puff herself up to appear larger and more dangerous despite her small size and young appearance.
But that didn't seem to impress the guy at all. He now stood up to his full height and looked down at Koa. The man pushed Koa away and started to shout at her too. "And what do you want, little brat?" he yelled, raising his fist to strike.
Koa, on the other hand, held, what was left of the branch, tightly in her hand as if it were a sword, ready to fight off this bully with her small weapon.
